HIT OR FLOP: Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, Nimki Mukhiya, Ishq Subhan Allah, Kumkum Bhagya?

In Week 16 (April 14-20), Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala which made a grand entry into Top 10 just last week, was ousted from the coveted list this time around. The show, which premiered on March 18, stars Aakriti Sharma, Mohit Malik, Shruti Sharma and Anjali Anand in the lead roles and follows the journey of a young singing prodigy Kullfi, who sets out to find her father.

The show has grabbed eyeballs owing to Aakriti’s portrayal of Kullfi and its plotline. It will be interesting to see how the show fares next week.

Furthermore, Star Bharat’s Nimki Mukhiya too failed to make its presence felt in the list of most popular shows. The family drama acquired the 19th spot. The Bhumika Gurung, Abhishek Sharma and Indraneil Sengupta starrer has the advantage of a different storyline and fresh faces. However, it hasn’t been able to cement its position in Top 10.

Another show that disappointed in Week 16 was Kumkum Bhagya -the family drama slipped to the 6th spot. You may recall, in Week 14 too, the show had dropped to 7 which is unlike its performance. Last week, it was integrated with Kundali Bhagya which helped it to become the most-watched. However, the moment it went back to being on its own the audience’s interest waned.

However, its spin-off Kundali Bhagya was the most-watched show this week too.

The integration episode of the lead actresses of Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Belan Wahi Bahu, Dil Se Dil Tak and Udaan clinched the second spot.

Furthermore, Ishq Subah Allah retained the third spot this time around as well. Rising Star and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai were at No. 4 and 5 respectively.

Finally, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein which was at No. 4 last week plummeted to No. 9.
